Ukrposhta to develop an NTF token based on a stamp with a «Russian warship»

According to a press release on Ukrposhta’s website, the state-owned enterprise is preparing to issue stamps in NFT format. The first example of a Ukrainian NFT stamp will be the most famous Ukrposhta stamp issued under martial law, «Russian warship, go fuck yourself.» The proceeds from the sale of the NFT stamp will be used for the needs of the Armed Forces.

Since Ukrposhta is not legally authorized to issue NFT stamps, the national postal operator will hold a tender to select a partner to organize the issuance, placement and sale of NFTs. For its part, Ukrposhta will license the rights to issue NFT stamps.

Any legal entity or individual can participate in the tender. Bids can be sent to [email protected] marked «Contest» until August 29.

Based on the results of the competition, Ukrposhta will sign a contract with the winner based on the decision of the competition committee, after which he will be able to create an NFT stamp.

As a reminder, «Russian warship, go f*ck yourself!» is a response phrase of Ukrainian soldiers from Zmiinyi Island, which was heard by a Russian occupation ship during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in response to a proposal to surrender.
