Dubai government to open representative offices in virtual reality
The Dubai government plans to integrate government institutions into the metaverse. It is promised that city residents will be able to use virtual reality to communicate with officials without even leaving their homes.
According to Sharad Agarwal, CEO of Cybergear, the company that developed the metaverse of the same name: «We have started receiving a lot of requests from government departments and ministries to integrate them into the metaverse. It’s only a matter of time before Dubai becomes the world’s center for metaverse and cryptocurrency.»
Avargal also added that Dubai has a huge real estate market, so it is important that potential buyers have the opportunity to choose real housing online, style it with tools in the virtual world, and pay for the purchase in cryptocurrency. Buying real estate for digital assets is already available: in late April, one of the leading developers in the UAE market, DAMAC Properties, announced the launch of VIP real estate sales for bitcoin.
