A payment terminal that accepts cryptocurrency has been developed in Ukraine

Ukraine has developed a POS terminal (payment terminal) that accepts both fiat and cryptocurrency payments. The developer of the cryptocurrency processing system Whitepay hopes to help Ukrainian entrepreneurs expand their customer base and, as a result, increase their revenues.

According to Whitepay representatives, their payment terminal guarantees secure transactions, low fees, and fast transfers. «To conduct transactions, it is enough to have your own cryptocurrency wallet. There are no additional terms of use,» Whitepay representatives explained on Instagram.

As a reminder, Whitepay recently became a partner of the United24 project launched by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to collect donations in cryptocurrency. There are several ways to transfer funds: payment card, bank transfer, or cryptocurrency. Depending on which fundraiser the donor wants to send money to, the system directs them to the appropriate page with the targeted fundraiser. Donations can be made in more than 100 cryptocurrencies.
