Vatican to release official NFT gallery

The Vatican government is working in partnership with the VR community Sensorium and Humanity 2.0 to create an NFT gallery. With the support of the Holy See, the members of the association promise to show a huge amount of Vatican museum art to a wide audience. The release dates are still unknown.

It is also unknown whether the Vatican NFTs will be put up for sale (unlikely, but the excitement would be enormous).

In a statement about the Vatican’s NFT gallery, Father Larry, a spokesman for the throne, said: «We look forward to working with Sensorium to explore ways to democratize art, making it more accessible to people around the world, regardless of their socioeconomic or geographic limitations.» Interestingly, this particular clergyman is the author of several books on technology and artificial intelligence.
