Jacob & Co. has announced the creation of an elite limited edition Astronomia Solar Bitcoin watch. The accessory will be available by appointment only and only until September 1 inclusive. According to the company, the new limited edition bitcoin-themed watch is the first highly sophisticated accessory inspired by the cryptocurrency industry.

The luxury timepiece features a rotating BTC cryptocurrency logo, a yellow sapphire sun, a 1-carat diamond moon, and a gold planet Earth. The dial also features a miniature black rocket ship, a rocket with a bitcoin sign, reaching for the moon.

Interestingly, the collapse of the cryptocurrency market in July led to an increase in the supply of luxury watches available on the secondary market. Despite the fact that cryptocurrency rates continue to fluctuate significantly, luxury watchmakers continue to tap into the cryptocurrency industry, either by designing new cryptocurrency-themed watches or accepting payments for their products.
