A virtual rock band created on the BAYC NFT platform will be depicted on candy

The American candy manufacturer Mars has announced the release of a new limited edition of M&Ms inspired by the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection. The candy will feature members of the rock band from the meta-universe KINGSHIP, which is supported by the music industry giant Universal Music Group. The band consists of four virtual characters from the Bored-and-Mutant Yacht Club NFT universe.

Mars plans to sell only 10,000 sets of limited edition candy under the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT brand.

Despite the high-profile collaboration with the world’s largest candy manufacturer, the price of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection has fallen to its lowest level since the beginning of the year. Trading at 65.68 ETH, the minimum price of NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club has fallen to a level not seen since January 2022. According to CoinGecko, it has been on a downtrend since reaching an all-time high of 153.7 ETH on May 1.
