Stolen NFT token becomes the main character of a series about NFT

Hollywood actor Seth Green can’t calm down. Earlier, he suffered a phishing attack, and someone stole four valuable NFTs from him, including a monkey from the BAYC collection. The actor was extremely upset and urged not to buy the stolen asset, and today the reason for Green’s emotions became clear — his NFT was the main character of the series about NFTs.

The White Horse Tavern trailer was shown by Green at the NFT conference VeeCon. This comedy show seems to be based on the question: «What if your bartender was Bored Ape NFT token #8398?»

The monkey even had its own name — Fred. Fred (Green's name for his token) was stolen a few days before the series was announced. Green insists that he demands Fred’s return, otherwise he is ready to sue any possible buyer of the token, even if they are not aware that the monkey was stolen earlier.

Some social media users doubt that the monkey theft story is real. They believe that what is happening may be a marketing campaign to generate hype ahead of the series launch.
