Russian authorities are worried that their cryptocurrency transfers are being blocked

According to Olga Skorobogatova, First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, there are cases when the authorities of «unfriendly» countries can block cryptocurrency transactions of Russian businesses.

Skorobogatova noted that the CBR does not like the possibility of Russian companies losing money when using digital assets for international payments.

«We see how, from the point of view of unfriendly countries, even payments in cryptocurrencies are not only monitored, but many payments are blocked,» the official complained.

Earlier, Russia suspended the adoption of all four bills concerning mining, experimental legal regimes, and taxation of digital currency transactions.
