Despite the fall in the exchange rate, the number of cryptocurrency wallets with more than 10,000 bitcoins is growing

Analytical agency Glassnode has reported that the number of BTC addresses containing more than 10,000 bitcoins has increased to 100.

At the time of publication, 10,000 BTC are worth about $ 213 million according to the current exchange rate of BTC against the US dollar.

As a reminder, the world’s largest OTC bitcoin whale bought 2,554 BTC and holds more than $ 2 billion after a series of large transactions earlier this month. The term «whales» refers to investors who are large holders of digital assets.
