Twitter has announced the launch of post editing for users in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, a feature that was launched despite warnings that cryptocurrency fraudsters could use the new functionality for malicious purposes.

From now on, users will be able to edit their posts within 30 minutes after they are published, and they can correct a post no more than 5 times. According to Twitter representatives, users have been interested in the possibility of editing tweets since the platform’s launch.

2. wait 15−20 minutes for thousands of users to share it;
3. edit the previous text of the tweet, adding information about the fake platform or posting a phishing link;
4. receive funds from users who are interested in the previous news.

«As with any new feature, we’re intentionally testing tweet editing with a limited number of users to get feedback and address potential issues,» Twitter representatives explained earlier.
