Muslim NFT platform for selling halal tokens launched
The founders of the Marhaba DeFi Network, a decentralized network targeting a Muslim audience, have announced the launch of certification for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in accordance with Shariah law.
According to the press release, before being placed on the MRHB SouqNFT trading platform, digital art objects will be checked for compliance with the ethical canons of Islam. The Supervisory Board will check NFT for the absence of images of nude body parts, incitement to hatred and racism.
Censorship will be carried out directly by the company’s board. The halal nature of digital assets will be recorded even in the blockchain certificate, and the tokens will be minted by Shariah Experts Ltd, a London-based cryptographic services firm.
