Dogecoin founder calls Elon Musk a fraudster who can’t code

Jackson Palmer, the Australian co-creator of the Dogecoin (DOGE) digital cryptocurrency, called Elon Musk a fraudster who doesn’t even know how to run the basic code.

Recently, the founder of the cryptocurrency that turned into memecoin gave a long interview to the Australian political magazine Crickey.

Answering journalists who asked his opinion on the uncertainty surrounding the purchase of Twitter by Elon Musk, Jackson Palmer said that he considers the SpaceX owner to be a fraud.

The developer said that based on his personal experience of communication, he was convinced that the multibillionaire is not very good at coding. The Dogecoin co-founder shared the story of how Musk turned to him for help when he could not run a script to fight spam bots on social networks on his own.

«About a year ago, when Musk said something about cryptocurrency, I said that he was and always will be a fraudster. But the world loves fraudsters. People like the idea that they can become billionaires someday, and that’s the dream he’s selling,» Palmer said.

According to Palmer, Elon Musk’s criticism of Twitter is a ploy to undermine the platform’s credibility or at least further reduce its value.

«The other alternative is that he wants to run Twitter into the ground, and I think that’s what he’s doing,» he says.

The Australian developer is also not happy with the way the owner of SpaseX and Tesla is speculating on the name of the Dogecoin project on social media.

Jackson Palmer is the developer who created Dogecoin, a meme-based cryptocurrency that soon became one of the largest digital currencies in the world by capitalization. He stopped working on the cryptocurrency in 2015.
