Cardano cryptocurrency founder hijacks Ethereum Classic’s Twitter

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has taken over the Ethereum Classic cryptocurrency account on Twitter, and the ETH Classic account has been renamed Ergo_Platform.

According to Hoskinson, he remembered that he had access to the Ethereum Classic account because he was once a member of the cryptocurrency’s development team. As a moral compensation, the Cardano father decided to take the account and use it as a new page of the decentralized PoW-based Ergo Platform.

«I can’t get back the millions of dollars I spent on development, nor the years I spent supporting the Ethereum blockchain,» Charles Hoskinson tweeted. In this way, Hoskinson has taken away more than 600,000 followers from Ethereum Classic, which was created in July 2016.

As a reminder, today it became known that Hoskinson is ready to work with Vitalik Buterin again. He claims that he would like to develop a project with the father of ethereum «that would be right.» Hoskinson noted that he would be interested in working with Buterin in researching human biological aging processes and in the field of regenerative medicine. «In the future, if we have ideas for such developments, we will collaborate on it,» he added. Whether Buterin will agree to cooperate with Hoskinson after the «hijacking» of his 600,000-follower account remains an open question.
