Founders of the cryptocurrency platform Three Arrows Capital are hiding from law enforcement

11:11 pm, July 11, 2022

According to journalists, the founders of the Three Arrows Capital (3AC) platform are hiding from law enforcement, and all of the company’s assets may be liquidated.

In a statement to the US court in the Three Arrows Capital bankruptcy case, the liquidators (court-appointed persons who settle the company’s affairs in its liquidation) reported that they were unable to contact the company’s founders «in any possible way.» This is what led to the belief that Zhu Su and Kyle Davis are currently in hiding.

The liquidators emphasized that due to the refusal of 3AC representatives to cooperate, all of the company’s assets may be transferred to other parties. In this case, neither creditors nor any other parties interested in receiving funds will receive anything.

Interestingly, representatives of 3AC voluntarily declared bankruptcy, but apparently refused to cooperate with anyone in the future. The problems with Three Arrows Capital’s finances began in early June, when the hedge fund suffered from the Terra collapse and the fall of the cryptocurrency market. Earlier this month, the hedge fund was looking for partners to enter into a financial assistance agreement (after it started selling off its assets).

Three Arrows Capital is not the only one facing major financial problems. The cryptocurrency company Celsius Network is on the verge of bankruptcy, but the management has refused to announce it officially.
