SpaceX has made a $ 94 million bitcoin transaction

SpaceX has transferred over $ 94 million in bitcoin in two transactions, which has once again drawn attention to the company’s crypto activity ahead of its likely IPO in 2026. According to the Arkham Intelligence analytics platform, two SpaceX-related wallets moved 1,021 BTC: one transaction amounted to 407 BTC and the other to 614 BTC, with a total value of about $ 94.3 million at the current exchange rate.

Arkham reported that SpaceX has been making similar transfers almost every week for the past two months, amounting to about $ 100 million. This indicates the company’s intensification of digital assets after a three-year break when its bitcoin wallets remained dormant. Last week, the company also moved approximately $ 100 million in BTC, which may indicate an internal restructuring or changes in asset storage.

At the same time, SpaceX has not commented on these transfers publicly, and there is no evidence that they are directly related to the company’s plans for an initial public offering. According to Bloomberg, SpaceX may go public in 2026 with a potential valuation of about $ 1.5 trillion and an intention to raise more than $ 30 billion, making the IPO one of the largest in history.

If the company retains its current crypto assets, it could become one of the largest public bitcoin holders. Currently, SpaceX has about 8,285 BTC worth about $ 770 million on its balance sheet, making it the fourth largest private corporate bitcoin holder. In 2022, this figure reached 25,000 BTC, but over time, the company reduced its holdings.

The latest transactions coincided with a partial recovery of the bitcoin market: after falling to $ 81,000, the BTC rate rose to about $ 89,800, remaining 28% below the October high. SpaceX’s activity comes amid growing institutional interest in bitcoin, from corporate balance sheets to exchange-traded funds. Experts note that this behavior of the company is consistent with the style of Elon Musk, who has repeatedly demonstrated a tendency to non-standard financial solutions.
