Solana blockchain outpaced Ethereum in terms of the number of cryptocurrency transactions in March

Binance Smart Chain and Base, which are backed by Binance and Coinbase, respectively, showed volumes of $ 25.29 and $ 21.37 billion. Even together, they are inferior to Solana. Over the past seven days, the Solana network has registered $ 12.36 billion in DEX trades, and over 30 days — almost $ 60 billion, which is significantly higher than its competitors.

The main platforms that provide activity on the network are Humidifi, Orca, Meteora, Manifest, Raydium, and PumpSwap. They account for the majority of trading volumes on Solana.

Despite the leadership, the current figures are significantly lower than the record $ 156.2 billion recorded in October 2025. At the same time, steady activity on decentralized exchanges is supporting the gradual recovery of the SOL token price. Over the past 30 days, it has increased by 13.6% and is trading at around $ 87.4, with a market capitalization of $ 43 billion.

Historically, the growth of DEX volumes is associated with an increase in demand for the native token, which creates a bullish effect on its price. Analysts note that activity in decentralized trading can be a key driver for further strengthening Solana’s position in the cryptocurrency market.
