Polygon blockchain will be the basis for Muse’s new album

9:46 pm, August 1, 2022

The British rock band has announced plans to launch its new album Muse in the NFT format — the music collection will be presented on the Serenade platform powered by the Polygon blockchain.

As it has become known, Muse’s ninth studio album «Will of the People» will be available on August 26 and will be the first music album in the UK and Australia to be released in the NFT format. «Muse has always been open to innovation and pushing musical boundaries, so using blockchain technology to distribute their album will definitely attract new fans,» said Max Shand, CEO of the Serenade platform.

It is worth noting that an important feature of Serenade is that the platform does not require users to create a cryptocurrency wallet to buy NFTs — members of the crypto community can use debit and credit cards to purchase non-fungible tokens on the site. Users can also pay for the purchase of NFTs using their existing Bitcoin or Ethereum wallets.

Perhaps, after integrating their own music into the Web3 space, Muse will follow the example of Snoop Dogg and Eminem and release a video with non-fungible tokens. This is how the rappers presented the video for the song «From The D 2 The LBC» — Snoop Dogg’s NFT Bored Ape #6723 and Eminem’s Bored Ape #9055 were used in the video. According to the rappers, they kept the idea of creating a video with non-fungible tokens a secret to surprise users.
