Dogecoin developers announce the intensification of fake tokens

On Friday, the Twitter account of members of the Dogecoin community warned about the rise of fake Dogecoin tokens.

«Over the past 9 years, there have been many attempts to create a fake coin, beware of fakes. Dogecoin has its own blockchain and is not tied to any alternative cryptocurrencies,» the developers said.

It should be noted that the most popular scam version of Dogecoin is the DogeMother project. The project froze investors' funds, depriving them of the opportunity to withdraw their assets.

In recent years, the token has received the support of billionaires Mark Cuban and Elon Musk, with the latter claiming that it is better suited for transactions than bitcoin. Musk has even been sued for his love of Dogecoin.
