February 25, 2026 · 11:35 am 2 min read

The cryptocurrency market showed a recovery on Wednesday, with the total capitalization rising by 2.6% to reach $ 2.25 trillion. Bitcoin BTC $78,329.78 Bitcoin -0.94% Market capitalization $1.57 trillion VOL. 24 hours $1.32 billion rose by about 3% overnight, trading near $ 65,000. Despite the growth, the Fear & Greed indicator remained at 11, which corresponds to the «extreme fear» zone.

On the chart, bitcoin consolidated around $ 65,000 after sharp fluctuations — a rise to $ 66,300 and a quick pullback below $ 65,000. Technical indicators indicate that the momentum is stabilizing, but they do not yet confirm a steady uptrend. Traders are keeping a close eye on support around $ 64,800 and resistance in the $ 66,000−66,300 range.

Ethereum ETH $2,451.97 Ethereum -0.89% Market capitalization $295.91 billion VOL. 24 hours $0.64 billion added about 3.6% to reach $ 1,891, while Solana SOL $96.99 Solana -1.70% Market capitalization $56.58 billion VOL. 24 hours $0.25 billion rose by more than 6% to $ 82. XRP XRP $1.41 XRP -4.58% Market capitalization $88.5 billion VOL. 24 hours $0.25 billion rose by 2.5%. At the same time, most tokens remain in the red this week. Stable coins Tether and USD Coin maintain their peg to the dollar, confirming the demand for liquidity in times of volatility.

Analysts note that the average RSI values for the market are at around 47, indicating a neutral position — assets are neither oversold nor overbought. This indicates a fragile recovery rather than a confirmed trend reversal.

Further market movement will depend on bitcoin’s ability to hold the $ 65,000 level. If the support remains, the recovery may continue. In the event of a downward breakout, the market risks returning to the correctional phase that has dominated the past week.
