The volume of daily liquidations in the cryptocurrency market exceeded a record $ 515 million

During this period, more than 114,000 traders closed their positions. The bulk of the losses — more than $ 451 million — came from long positions, while traders who opened shorts lost another $ 64 million. The largest liquidation volumes were recorded in pairs with Bitcoin ($ 231 million) and Ethereum ($ 141 million).

The most significant single liquidation of $ 51.56 million occurred on the HTX exchange. On the morning of July 10, the bitcoin rate fell slightly, but remained above $ 111,000.

Analysts note that bitcoin’s growth is taking place amid a weakening US dollar index, which also affects the dynamics of the cryptocurrency market.
