A virtual museum of Salvador Dali to open in the metaverse
Fans of Salvador Dali will be able to get one step closer to his work — an exhibition of digital art will open in Barcelona on September 20, featuring more than 200 works by the famous master. The DALÍ CIBERNÈTIC event will be held in the metaverse, according to the exhibition organizers.
To immerse themselves in the metaverse, visitors will be given virtual reality glasses. They will also be allowed to create their own avatar to walk through the artist’s paintings in the literal sense.
The project will last approximately 4 years. During this time, the physical part of the exhibition will visit 20 cities around the world. London will be the next after Barcelona.
Earlier, it was reported that a virtual Elvis Presley museum was launched.
