Binance transactions are available in Monobank despite the previous ban

According to the MediaSigen.pro telegram channel, despite the ban on transactions with Binance by Monobank, everything is working. The withdrawal transaction was successful. Users write that they also tried to conduct transactions despite the ban earlier, but it was not always possible. They also inform that Peer-to-peer transfers (from user to user) also continue to work.

Earlier, the largest Ukrainian banks blocked massive transactions to withdraw money to crypto exchanges and from crypto exchanges to cards. This is due to the fact that such transactions are considered to be money transfers abroad, and due to the war, the National Bank of Ukraine has banned this possibility.

While users are trying to conduct prohibited transactions, Monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky said that the bitcoin card is ready and is waiting for the NBU’s approval. The National Bank will be able to give permission, as the legal framework allows it, thanks to the draft law «On Virtual Assets» signed by President Zelensky on March 16.
