Ukraine to develop blockchain project for restoration of architectural monuments

2:36 pm, July 8, 2022

To restore architectural monuments destroyed by the war, the Restore Together platform will bring together architects, builders, artists, and investors, the latter of whom will be able to finance the reconstruction by purchasing NFTs.

According to Vladimir Buina, CEO of AtomicLab and co-founder of the Restore Together blockchain project, the new project will help restore hundreds of architectural monuments, buildings, and infrastructure facilities. All thanks to the union of people who are ready to take part in this. Investors will be able to buy non-fungible tokens to help a specific architectural monument, each of which will have its own collection.

Volodymyr Buina emphasized that the crypto crisis in the digital asset market should not affect the decision to buy NFTs, as «the issue of supporting and rebuilding Ukraine is much more important than profitable investment in the future.» «Today, for example, everything is going down, and tomorrow it will be up. These fluctuations should not affect people’s decisions to help Ukraine,» summarized the co-founder of Restore Together.

In addition to helping to restore architectural monuments, anyone can donate cryptocurrency and fiat funds for the needs of various proven charitable initiatives. Among them are the United24 fundraising platform (launched by Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself), Serhiy Prytula 's charity foundation (which raised UAH 600 million for the bayraktars, 8 million of which came in cryptocurrency), and the NFT collection for cryptocurrency donations to the army created by the Azov battalion.
